Monique Canmphuysen-Faber –
The actual pattern does not fit it is too short and too small. But after a basic pattern was drafted for me by a friend, I could rebuild it like it should be. It needs a bit of experience to sew this dress, but I had great fun making it. It is best to fasten the silk tulle to the underskirt so it cannot stretch to far and tear. I am wearing a proper corset that fits the period. I did change the decoration on the skirt because the original was almost impossible to make.
