This was a delightful pattern to work with. I measured my granddaughter and the size I picked off the pattern measurements fit her very well. The “blouse” consists of false sleeves and a front piece sewn into the bodice top which all went into place easily. I did make the petticoat that came with this pattern but could have done without it, especially given an active child and the cold on Halloween in Seattle–she wore pants under it any way. I added my own piece of jewelry to the front bodice and bought a nice metal celtic-insprired clasp for the cloak which is also included with this pattern and super easy. This pattern would be appropriate for a beginner seamstress but allows for the more experience one to add on their own design ideas.
