I just love this pattern for ballgown bodices. It is easy to wear and easy to make. It isn’t period at all; however it would lend itself to well to a fairy ballgown or other fantasy evening wear. The instructions are very clear. The boning is easy to install. I put in grommets instead of a zipper. I wore it to the ball at a dance camp weekend. The theme of the ball was cows (yup, COWS); that dictated my choice of fabric.
