The pattern was very easy to figure out, and turned out beautifully. I had never sewn a hat before, and I put this one together in less than 24 hours – almost entirely hand sewn. The pattern shapes quite nicely, even using all the layers and on a buckrum foundation.

While it did take me sometime to create this hat, it was my first hat and I had problems figuring out exactly what size hat I am. Once that was accomplished it was a breeze to make this hat.
