I made View A (darted bodice, mancherons, and tight sleeves) and I found that it went together quite easily, but I’m not so much of a fan of some of the pattern pieces that are optional. The chest pads are way too big and the pocket piece included is way too long. I love having pockets in a dress, but my arms aren’t long enough to reach the bottom so I have to grab my whole skirt up to get anything out of it. The dress itself is supposed to have a very tight fit to get that 1840s look, so a long corset will do wonders to make this dress really be a stunner. So far this is one of my favorite mid-19th century dresses out of the 10 that I’ve made!
