This was a real challenge for me, never having attempted tailoring before. The pattern itself is great, no issues with either the instructions or the pieces. The instructions walk you through the tailoring process in good detail, and if you take it a step at a time, the frock coat will come together as it should. It’s all about slow and steady with this one unless you’re already well versed at tailoring.
I would recommend this pattern for people who consider themselves experienced with sewing, but an adventurous moderate might be able to pull it off, provided he/she takes her time and follows the directions carefully. I was really pleased with the final product.
