I just finished ensemble. I made the ruffled skirt, 3/4 sleeve bodice and bustle. The instructions were so easy to follow and everything went together well. I love her patterns.

The bodice pattern is the best and easiest I have ever used. It goes together perfectly the first time and fits perfectly and is so flattering. I made the Saloon Girl skirt and will make other pieces in this pattern. The bodice is going to be used again soon.

We used this pattern to make five Can-Can skirts and four Can-Can bodices. We were a group of two lightly experienced, one intermediate, and two beginning sewers. We would have been better off knowing a little more about fitting, because we did experience some difficulties with the bodice fitting our different body types. The Can-Can ruffles were insufficient to our needs, but we were able to fairly easily modify the pattern to add more ruffles of the required depth.
