It was missing a page of instructions. No illustrations in the instructions. The vest did come out well. It wasn’t difficult once I figured out how to do it. It runs a bit short, so be sure to measure your gentleman and the pattern pieces before you start. A modern vest pattern from McCalls or Simplicity would produce the same garment without the hassle.

There is a drafting error or an instructions error in the pattern. It took two of us to get this vest made. We thought we were doing it wrong for a long time. The result is a nice vest. I made it up in cream silk brocade for a wedding. It did turn out nicely after fixing where the lapel meets the body in front.
