As mentioned before, a booklet accompanies this pattern and includes many ideas to vary this dress. Be sure you make the dress small enough to fit you – I had to move the waistband up to make it fit smaller people (or it will pooch out too much at the front). It does not come with the chemisette pattern, but they suggest you use a scarf to fill in the neckline. I used an open sleeve with epaulets in my version, and added tucks along the hem (something seen in originals).
