This book has 1/8th scale patterns. Some of the patterns seem incorrect, or too modern, yet the end result is nice. I used the short 1790s corset to make a peasant type bodice. Quite easy. I made the bodice in one piece (shoulder straps separate) and fiddled a bit to get the front pieces to match. It worked and lies with the skill of the maker, rather than the pattern.
