Join Alexandre Dumas in a to celebrate his latest novel release, The Man in the Iron Mask (1850). Come to the masquerade dressed in your best late 1840’s or come as one of his many beloved characters from the 1700-1830’s. Will there be merchant sailors, musketeers, royalty in disguise, sword fighting ladies, those seeking treasure and adventure, and mysterious people behind a mask.
Be entertained with live music, portrait photography, and fortune telling, while you dine or walk in the gardens of the Camel Barns in Benicia.
Portrait photography by Memento Moda will be available for an additional sitting fee per person, you can pay in advance or day of the event. Space is limited so we recommend signing up in advance, you may purchase this with your ticket.
Practicalities:
Please bring your own table setting to show off, disposable settings will be available as well.

Costume Suggestions:
Come dressed in the era of Dumas 1830-40’s, or in the era of his books 1700-1830! Cosplay and Fantasy also welcome. You may come masked or not, don’t worry it doesn’t have to be iron!
We ask everyone to be in costume, but we do not determine the style or complexity.
