Many famous paintings and prints showing charming winter scenes of ice skaters are a perfect inspiration for our March skating party at Palo Alto’s charming outdoor rink, the Winter Lodge. Come in simple daytime attire that you can comfortably skate in from any time period. Historical sportswear and winter-inspired outfits are perfect for this event. Due to risks of falling on potentially wet ice surface, thin and fragile fabrics are not recommended. Don’t forget your gloves and scarf!

Skate rental is included. We recommend arriving early to change and try on skates.

In the case of rain, there is a covered section of the rink that will be used.

COSTUME: 

Historical dress of any era is welcome as long as you can skate in it!
