    Thank you to everyone who attended our first picni Thank you to everyone who attended our first picnic event of the year! We had a mix of current members and quite a few new faces we hope to see again. Everyone looked beautiful. 🤩 @wolfsbane_band played two lovely sets for us. We had amazing weather at Paradise Beach Park and the view was spectacular. It was a perfect day!

    Keeping things neat with a versatile Barbie 1950’s inspired basket box purse (human sized of course!) 
Our next workshop will be on Sunday June 9th. Registration begins on Wednesday April 17th at 7pm! Register before May 1st to choose between pink Barbie or blue poodle design. Registration link in bio.

We learned  techniques using several different forms of straw in to embellish our hats. First gorgeous finished hat is by Lynn, the rest is student work. Last picture is the beautiful stairway to the workspace. Can’t wait to see the finished hats at our upcoming Pastoral Pursuits event in May. 🌸 🍃

While lounging around in the garden, join us in some historical games. If you have a favorite classic children's game or fun pastime for everyone, bring it along and teach your fellow guild members how to play it! We will bring our croquet set as well for everyone's use.⁠

THE GREAT HOBBIT BAKE-OFF⁠

If you think your baking should be the envy of Sackville Bagginses, bring your best creation to share and take home the Grand Prize and the bragging rights as big as the Shire!⁠

The Grand Prize will be a fabulous set of tea spoons that even Lobelia Sackville Baggins would gladly take home.⁠
⁠
(Please include a list of ingredients with your creation for dietary restrictions/allergies, an appropriate serving utensil, and unleash your creativity with the naming of your masterpiece!)⁠

Our site is Picnic Area # 1. Restrooms are available in the park. Street parking is available around the park.⁠

Site Amenities: Three long picnic tables, and two medium picnic tables; bbq grill; stone fireplace-sealed shut; trash cans; much shade from trees; asphalt/packed dirt; steep embankment to the creek; no grass. Wheelchair accessible.⁠
⁠
Site location: At the sidewalk next to the Codornices sign, follow the path down into the park. You will see the basketball court on the left and the restroom on the right. Continue straight up the path to the right of the long cement slide and there will be two picnic sites across from each other. Codornices #1 is on the left.

Get ready for the event with your favorite medieval meme! We will have a competition for the most faithful and hilarious recreation, through costuming or any other means available to you. The best recreation will earn a prize!⁠

We will also host a poetry reading! Bring your favorite historical or modern creation and share it with us!⁠
