Not ready for the big chop? Don’t want to grow out your pixie cut? You can still wear 1920s hair! In this class students will learn period correct ways to style 1920s long hair, as well as some make-ahead hairpieces, to create fail-proof quick styles for any length of hair.

The class will consist of two parts:

The first portion will cover three period styling options of longer hair: The “earphones”, the chignon, and the psyche knot.

The second portion will be two simple make-ahead frontal hairpieces designed to be worn with either a hat or a headband to give an illusion of period hair: A sleek orchid bob and a classic finger wave.

Other styles may be demonstrated if time permits.

You may choose to work on one or both portions of the class.
