DESCRIPTION:After a couple years\, our Costumers Bazaar is BACK! Are you looking for fabulous fabrics\, trims or patterns? Maybe you’re interested in some great new or used costume items? \nIf the answer to any of the above is “yes”\, you MUST join us at the GBACG Bazaar on Sunday April 16th and shop for your next great set of gloves\, or a hat\, or a whole outfit for our 2023 events. \nCostume: Costumes are not required but are always admired. \nTickets: This year we are adding an Early Bird ticket\, get in an hour before general admission and check out all the treasures for sale\, great for people looking for that special item. After the early bird hour\, this event is FREE for anyone to come and shop! This is a great destination for new and experienced costumers alike. \nFood: You’re welcome to bring your own food if you like. There will be water available. \nPracticalities: Bring swatches of your fabrics and trims for color matching if desired. DESCRIPTION:Once again it’s time for our annual Open House. This year’s Open House will be similar to last year’s in that we are going virtual for the safety of our community\, based on the feedback we’ve received from the past two. \nWhat is the Open House? The GBACG Open House is an opportunity for members and those interested to hear about the past year of our guild\, plans moving forward\, and any organizational changes in the guild. \nWe will also have a Q&A session\, please submit questions beforehand by emailing: gbacg.board@gmail.com. As it’s virtual again this year will have a fun virtual entertainment with a Show & Tell and Trivia in lieu of our normal in-person activities. \nThis is a great event for newcomers. \n\nIf you have friends who might be interested in our group and want to learn about it\, please share the event link with them.\nIf you’ve been shy about coming to GBACG events or workshops\, and you would like to preview our activities for 2023.\nIf you want to get to know the board and share any questions you have.\n\nShow & Tell\, Trivia\, and Raffle!  Sign up for our Show and Tell\, and show us any of your 2022 crafts or creations: \n\nSewed an amazing Robe à la Française? SUMMARY:An Evening at the Witcher School
DESCRIPTION:Join your fellow witchers at Caer Morhen\, and enjoy some sword fighting\, a feast\, and a sword fighting demo! \nThis is an event limited to 50 lucky witchers\, with an optional add-on Introduction to Stage Combat Sword Fighting Class (tickets are available as a separate ticket from the event). For those who choose not to do the class\, there will be picture backgrounds\, and other alternative activities. \nSchedule:\n4 pm – Event Starts \n4:30 pm – 5:30 pm – Introduction to Stage Sword Combat class (optional as an add-on ticket) \n6 pm – 7:30 pm – Dinner (savory and sweet hand pies will be served) \n6:30 pm – 7 pm – Sword-fighting demo entertainment during dinner \n8 pm – Event Finished \nPracticalities:\nIntroduction to Stage Combat Class is available as an add-on to the regular ticket – $45 per person. Swords will be available for the class. Please wear comfortable clothing\, Witcher costumes\, and other comfortable costuming accepted for the class as long as it is not restricting your movements and you are not in danger of overheating. \nSwords as part of the costume are acceptable as long as only School-issued or approved swords are used for class. Will there be merchant sailors\, musketeers\, royalty in disguise\, sword fighting ladies\, those seeking treasure and adventure\, and mysterious people behind a mask. \nBe entertained with live music\, portrait photography\, and fortune telling\, while you dine or walk in the gardens of the Camel Barns in Benicia. \nPortrait photography by Memento Moda will be available for an additional sitting fee per person\, you can pay in advance or day of the event.
