Our informal afternoon of fun, food, good society and lots of gorgeous costumes was a great success. A few attendess did wear lovley costumes (and were much admired). GBACG Board members were introduced and gave reports on the upcoming 2005 activities. GBACG history was on display in our library of photo albums. The fashion show featured costumes for men and women, appropriate to wear at our 2005 events. The focus of the show included examples of all the choices available when creating your costume. Costumes that were rented, bought, sewn from a commercial pattern, sewn from a historical pattern, vintage garments and costumes created reworking thrift shop finds were all shown in the fashion show. |
