This year's new feature at Costume Academy was The Marketplace. Shopping for patterns, buttons, trims and fabric was very popular. Almost everyone left Costume Academy with at least one bag of 'goodies'.

Below (left) Lynn McMasters shares her knowledge and sells trims for hats. Lynn is the owner and pattern-maker of Period Hats by Lynn McMasters. Below (right) Janet Canning of The Lost Coast Historical Patterns and Costume Supply sets out her display of trims and feathers.

One of the most interesting classes was the Duct Tape Double Demonstration presented by Margo and Wayne Anderson.
