GBACG presented a workshop for gentleman taught by JoAnn Peterson, owner of Laughing Moon Mercantile.

This workshop was presented for Gentlemen planning to attend our Tea with the Buccaneers (November 20) and Dickens Faire (Nov. 27 - Dec. 19). An elegant waistcoat adds panache to any gent's ensem.

JoAnn taught us about making the welt pockets so popular on this garment and also covered fitting and construction of the waistcoat.

The Laughing Moon pattern contains two waistcoat styles. Style A (above) is an exact copy of an antique vest circa 1880. Style B (below) is a copy of a vest circa 1850.
