Gamble Gardens 1902 Day

The Elizabeth F. Gamble Gardens in Palo Alto celebrated its' 100th anniversary with gala a 1902 celebration on October 13, 2002. The afternoon included an open house from 1-5pm with lectures and demonstrations. The musical entertainment featured David Refken's American Conservatory Ragtime Orchestra. The Ragtime dances were taught by those charming and enthusiastic dancers from the Reriod Entertainments an Re-creation Society. GBACG members, in early Edwardian attire, added to the ambiance of the afternoon while strolling about the gardens and visiting the house -- and dancing!
