Sheri Junecka's Home in Oakland

Lorraine Carson demonstrated how to wrap a sari -- and we all wrapped each other in Sheri's collection of beautiful saris (imagine a roomful of women twisting around in yards of colourful silk -- the mind boggles!).

An Indian tea in the style of the era of the Raj was served. The tea included both Indian delicacies and traditional British selections. Naturally, we poured Dajeeling. Kyrsten Mate demonstrates how to wrap a turban.
