We were invited to participate in the Spring fashion show at Dunsmuir Historic House in Oakland, CA. The event is called Vintage On Parade and showcases both vintage and reproduction garments from 1900 through the 1920s. Tables with umbrellas and chairs were set up on the main lawn. The guests were served coffee, tea and a selection of desserts. Models came down the garden path to a stge and runway.

GBACG members modeled garments, helped write the commentary, dressed models and styled models hair. Christine James lost count of the number of hair styles she created that day --- and she modeled a gown.

It was a lovely summer afternoon. Our participation was much appreciated. The gowns and models were greatly admired by the audience.
