Oakland Heritage Alliance House Tour
This year's tour highlighted the 10th Avenue district, Oakland's first historic district. The area is a wealth of beautiful Victorian homes all within easy walking distance along or near the gently sloping blocks of 10th Avenue.

We joined the Oakland Heritage Alliance and provided 'period color' as we strolled along 10th Avenue, toured the houses and stopped and visited with friends as our small groups encountered one another throughout the afternoon.

At the end of the day, we joined members of the Oakland Heritage Alliance in the garden of the final home for refreshments and a volunteers reception.
